The second semester of my freshman year in NUS, ladies and gentlemen, is finally over. It's been a semester with loads of drama... well I'm not exactly talking about my own life, but the fact that I've attended, like more plays than I've ever done in my life. Okay, so I exaggerate.
I went to watch Nothing and Blithe Spirit over last weekend, and they were both good, albeit in very different ways. But please be warned: it burns a big hole in your pocket, so you'd better be prepared and selective about what shows you watch. Hehe. And I'm gonna watch Phantom of the Opera in about two weeks' time! Sigh. Now I gotta start looking for work. Anything easy and fun, and pays good? Yeah, I thought not.
Oh, and I went to record Flight in a studio at Lee Wei Song! The experience wasn't too bad, though I could have performed better. The recordings were relatively pitchy, and the sound engineer helped to adjust, but still... not so good leh. Haha. And I was so stinky. Haha. But that's another story for another time.
Yeah, so I asked the engineer to help burn a 'vocals only' track. That certainly paid off. I managed to get the tuning right, and now it sounds... loads better. The vocals are so much clearer now compared to when I recorded at home. But... still not perfect. Heh. Never mind... next time... hopefully. Yeah. And I got to plonk my butt down to write more. Can't possibly a(n almost) one-hit wonder, can I?
Till next time... :D
