read my mind

Sunday, February 6

Haha... I didn't realise anyone was still reading... oh well... I know it's frustrating to come back to a blog and see it's not been updated... hee.

Anyway let's talk about the books I'm reading. I'm currently reading 'To The Lighthouse' by Virginia Woolf, and have a book by Agatha Christie waiting to be read. 'To The Lighthouse' has been said to be the most autobiographical of Woolf's books, and I do see how she forms impressions of family relationships and childhood memories, but it is rather difficult to read, due to the way Woolf constructs her narration. For example, when a character is thinking of or remembering something, it unfolds right there and then, without making any distinction between what is right now, and what is going on through the character's mind. I know that this probably means that the reality and the character's thoughts have some link somehow, but I don't really understand what the link is at the moment... heh perhaps I'll come to learn it later on.

Okay that's it, I have to go help dry my bathed rabbits!
