When things change, they're for the better. Is that right? Or is that a lie told to make us feel better about the things we have to face in new environments and situations?
I don't deal very well with change; I'm usually overwhelmed with waves of fear, among other emotions. I long for the comfortable and easy conversations with my friends, when I speak with people who I've just met, who I expect will judge me.
I miss hanging out, chatting about nothing in particular. There doesn't seem to be time for that now; we're all busy with our own stuff.
Right now, I feel the loss, and I doubt anything newly gained can replace that.
