read my mind

While on the bus to school, I had an epiphany. I need to carry less stuff around! Yeesh. My bag can effectively replace all the weight I've lost since my peak in secondary school. I see Kaiquan nodding in agreement. Heh.

Now. To make a list of only the stuff I need.

1. Pencil case - light enough.
2. Water bottle - absolute necessity, only that recently I've 'upgraded' from a 600ml to a 1l one, which adds bulk plus weight. Pretty thing though.
3. (Gillian: ryan is not paying attention in class. TSK. Ryan: but neither are you!) Okay back to scheduled programming. Wait, not yet. My laptop is going to be hoarded.
3. Okay now back.
3. Folder for worksheets and readings - can accumulate to a substantial weight. Requires often check-ins to make sure it does not bloat.
4. Foolscap - sometimes serves to hold worksheets as well. Same as above.
5. Jacket - almost always necessary. The weather outside may be flaming hot, but I tell you, the insides of buses, lecture halls and classrooms transport you to the Arctic.
6. Laptop - a separate piece from the backpack, but a significant source of agony.
7. Books and texts - usually items that I carry all around but don't use for the whole day. But you know... to convince myself that I'll do good work and will need them.

Okay. I've made the list. But everything here is everything that I carry! Help me narrow the list!!!

Windy day... makes you just wanna stay home and curl up into a ball doesn't it. The weather's been so erratic and irritating somewhat. But it's great that the sun's coming out... I need my Vitamin D and melanin. I know lots of people complain that Singapore's so hot and stuffy, but I just find the warmth of the sun refreshing and invigorating. *cue Flight*

School's settled into a routine, though somewhat boring. Things just don't feel interesting anymore. I need my 'out-of-the-ordinary' fix. Maybe it's 'cause I haven't met up with the gang in so long. Hmm...

Anyway just dropping a line, to not disappoint those people who visit this blog as part of a checklist of blogs to read. Hehe.
