read my mind

Sang my way home.

I'm currently reading 'Eats, Shoots & Leaves' by Lynne Truss. It's a pretty humorous take on the subject of punctuation; I found myself chuckling as I read it. However, I'm thinking that not many will appreciate the dry humour she uses in her book. Probably only those who are into English like I am will find her anecdotes and examples amusing; others will scoff at her analness (is there such a word?).

The book was a present from the girls, together with the parody. Currently, I'm thinking that I will appreciate this book better than the parody, which seems to gather instances of bad English in a rather haphazard manner. I haven't read the parody yet, so perhaps my opinion will change.

Is my English improving? Hmm...
