Now I've gone and done it. I've just spent $84.91 on three books at Kinokuniya (after discount). And this is just the beginning.
The three books which may just force me into living on grass for the rest of the month are just the first in a whole new series. Canongate, a British publishing house, is beginning on this new series called The Myths series. Every year, three books will be published all over the world in various languages, each a re-telling of a myth. The first three books which I have just bought today are:
1. A Short History Of Myth by Karen Armstrong
2. The Penelopiad by Margaret Atwood
3. Weight by Jeanette Winterson
This post makes me sound like such a bookworm, but I think you already know I am.
Now I just need to find some space on my bookshelf...
