I wanna celebrate Halloween. I wanna dress up as a vampire.

Ugh, I should get that post out of the way. It's the first thing you see when u come to this blog, and it's so not a nice thought.

It's been a good weekend, and for me, the weekend ends today. That's because I had today off from work... originally it was supposed to be on Friday, but I'm glad it ended up this way.

Saturday started with my usual run at Bishan Park, but I decided to run half more than I used to. It was a little difficult to get used to, but I think I could handle it. During the afternoon I met up with Glen and Navin for lunch: chicken rice at Far East. This decision for our lunch venue ended up with us joining a graffiti competition with the theme: stop global terrorism. To tell the truth, I was uncomfortable with joining the competition, 'cause I thought at first I'd have to go on stage. We spent an hour doing up the whole thing; they provided 5 slabs of walls for that number of teams. The weather that day was really sunny, and we all ended up really sweaty and tired. Navin came up with the idea of doing Uncle Sam sinking his teeth into the world, and Glen also designed the font for the tagline. Well, these 2 guys are from graphic school, so they've obviously got cool ideas, but I'm there thinking, what have I got to contribute? In the end, I just stood around and helped whenever I could... It was not exactly a good feeling. At the end of our hour (hey a pun!), the effect was obvious. Because we used crayons (meant for the T-shirt design contest) to do the outline before spraying the paint onto the wall, the details were clear and the work stood out. In the end, the 3 of us walked away with an i-Dog each for designing the winning piece of graffiti. Thanks guys. We later met with Alvin, though Navin'd already left; he was about 2 hours late to meet his friend (and his friend never called! I wonder why).

I rested at home on Sunday. Was originally supposed to go running again, but the extended run on Saturday took its toll. I don't seem to remember much of importance happening yesterday... hmm... Though I do remember seeing a natural phenomenon (maybe that's not the right word) when running an errand yesterday evening. On my way to Junction 8, I noticed that one side of the sky was still baby blue, while the other side of it was pitch dark. It was a wondrous feeling, as I was right there, in between day and night. The sight also inspired me to think about my story, and sparked off some ideas of events I should write.

Today I ran the distance I did on Saturday, and swam about 19 laps in the swimming pool at Howe Yuan's clubhouse too. If you think I deserved a pat on the back, hold that thought. I ate an entire can of Pringles. Yes. One. Whole. Can. Howe Yuan and I caught The Corpse Bride at Junction 8, and I had to choose Pringles as my snack. Why?! Anyway, back to stuff that matters. The movie was great, and I loved the accents on the characters... teehee. Though it was short, I really enjoyed myself. If only Kaiquan would watch it...

Yeah. That's my weekend for you.
