At Kaiquan's request, I've put up the link to the photo album of our class gathering here: http://www.imagestation.com/album/pictures.html?id=2132961085
Enjoy!
Sunday, January 2
It is January 2005, and boy, 2004 was really a very big year for my friends and I, I should think. In some ways, we really learnt a lot last year. I hope it's not presumptuous to say that I went through quite a bit last year...
Anyway, I guess I should start with the event tonight that led me to blog tonight. Howe Yuan had organised a class gathering at his place, and most of us turned up. It was a little silent and uncomfortable at first, but slowly things began to warm up (hope it's not a wrong phrase to use) among all of us again. At the end, we were taking loads of crazy photos and reliving the times we shared as 34/02 of Anderson Junior College. Oh, I forgot to mention that Wenwei was also here at this gathering, and it'd been 9 months since most of us saw her.
Anyway, at the end of this gathering, Jeanette, Kaiquan and I saw Wenwei off to her bus. I don't know how long it's going to be until we see her again, but I do hope it's soon... heh. After that, we walked to a bus stop that Kaiquan thought had a bus Jeanette could take, but he was mistaken. Since he was headed in the opposite direction I accompanied Jeanette to her bus stop.
On our way there, we talked rather deeply on some stuff, which did make me think about life as I know it. Anyway, I came away from that conversation having this strange feeling. I don't really know what it was, it could be happiness, it could be maturity, it could be anything really, but I have a hope for 2005: to become the person I was meant to be, to live life as it should be lived, to appreciate all the people that come and go in my life.
I know it sounds so damn cheesy, but that is the way I feel. Okay, enough with my rubbish. Here's to 2005!
