I must admit I was kind of excited by the blackout on Tuesday night, even though I know that it did cause many problems in Singapore. It was just rather thrilling to be placed in a situation like that. When my mom took out the little white candles in metal containers, I was very much reminded of 'I Capture The Castle' by Dodie Smith, where the main character lives in rather poor conditions. Very good book by the way, and I have Kaiquan to thank for recommending it to me... heh.
I'm now on 'The Time Traveler's Wife' by Audrey Niffenegger. On the first chapter, I was already enthralled by the story! Guess I'll be done with it soon... uh oh. Any books to recommend? Put it in the tagboard! Hehe...

Hey... dropping in for an update...
I'm now posted at Ayer Rajah Camp doing a course to be a technician fixing vehicles... yep. Still getting used to the place and the people at this point though, but I hope I'll settle down soon.
Enough about that. I've now become a 'Friends' fan... heh. I bought the DVD collection of Season 1 some time ago and finished it within 10 days. Now I'm just waiting for pay day so I can get Season 2... wonder how the fans can bear waiting half a year after a season ends... haha. Also got the commemorative book too... I'm gonna collect them all... heh.
Also, my new PC is working... yay. Now I can try some editing and enjoy great sound with the new sound system... you have no idea how long I've waited for a good sound system... hehe.
Anyway, I just want to let you guys know that I'm okay for now... having some issues here and there but basically I'm alright... yup.
