Okay, Joy reminded me that I haven't talked about the American Idols Concert. Actually, I sorta did, just that it got erased... strike one for Blogger... hehe...
Anyway, the concert was really enjoyable, even though I had seats kinda far away... so I just saw the Idols like maybe about few cm tall? Talking about seats... My mom told me while I was on the cab home to prepare that she'd just realised her company was a sponsor, and that she'd been passed a pair of tickets. So, she gave the tickets to my sister and her friend. Turns out that those tickets were worth twice the ones Caroline and I got, and that the block of seats was just at the shoulder of the stage... great right? I'd asked my sister to switch seats during the intermission... but there was none. Oh well...
Anyway the performances were really really good, and they performed lots of songs, new and old. The old ones even Caroline didn't know, let alone me... I remember they performed Usher's 'Yeah', and when I heard the riff, I screamed. Yeah, I screamed... hehe. Jasmine Trias also did Alicia Keys' 'If I Ain't Got You'. They did Beyoncé's 'Dangerously In Love Pt. 2' and 'Crazy In Love'... very nice. I loved Fantasia's 'I Believe'... and she encouraged the audience to always believe in themselves... inspiring. I can't remember much of the rest now...
I was kinda irritated at myself for being so self-conscious when there was hardly a need to be. I'm such a contradiction: I wanna have a career in the music industry, yet I'm such a self-conscious and afraid Chicken Licken...
