Right now I'm halfway through my examinations... 'Drugs & Society' was really tough, but it's finally over. While I was studying it I thought, some of this is pretty cool (LSD and... clenbuterol haha), but obviously a typical science MCQ paper needs facts instead of commentary and critique.
Summer is coming. I have no idea what to do with myself this vacation. There're so many books I've yet to read (and re-read); I ought to make a list! Such a bookworm I am.
Speaking of which, I have a recommendation! Read Mary Shelley's Frankenstein, Bram Stoker's Dracula and Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray! I think the younger Ryan would have been too terrified to read these books, but there's a reason why they're classics. Go get your Gothic fix!
On a random note, the other day I was just reminded of this old Mother Goose TV show I had on tape and would watch over and over again. There was a scene where I think Mother Goose was leaving after fixing nursery rhymes (or I may be conflating it with the computer game... Yes, there was one), and the characters were waving goodbye to her. It was probably Little Bo Peep who was waving in that motion that looks like the hand action for 'talk', and she was doing it for such a long time (the director must have taken an awfully long time to yell 'Cut!'). I was thinking she must have been so tired, waving like that, and sure enough, she changed her 'talk' motion to the regular wave one. Conclusion: even from his youth, Ryan has been shown to think of the weirdest things.
