Been busy these days.
Saturday began with singing Christmas carols (yes, I know, at this time of year?) with the alumni choir; we were preparing a demo to send off to shopping centres so we would have some employment for Christmas and raise funds. When I left, we hadn't recorded anything at all. Which means I sang Christmas carols for nothing at all.
The afternoon was spent at the chalet, with the gang, trekking down East Coast Park to the other, looking for kayaks. Halfway through, we found a shopping trolley; I pushed Yingzhi in it for a bit before sitting in it myself. We found the kayaks too late; it was getting dark soon, and we weren't allowed to kayak after dark. So to console ourselves, we decided to soak our feet in the sea, taking pictures along the way. The night at the chalet was spent playing games and chatting till we fell asleep. I haven't had such fun in a while. Thanks you guys.
Yesterday was matriculation day. What a day. It was my first time trying out the bus route, and I bumped into Jonathan (my sergeant in BMT) on the way. We chatted a little about school, and he gave me basic directions to my destination. The matriculation process itself was a little unnerving, what with people bombarding you with brochures, leaflets and all. Thankfully, I came out of it unscathed, having Kaiquan and Kenny with me. We then went down to town to shop a little for school.
There were subject talks today, so I was there at school again today. Found out basic stuff about some subjects, like psychology and sociology. The political science one went right over my head, so I guess I'm not gonna touch that. Darren suddenly appeared and sat down next to me. Had no idea he's in FASS too. I suppose I'll be seeing some other familiar faces around.
School is starting. Woo hoo. Heh.
